The review in question represents a critical opinion of the authors regarding the work of Dirceu D'Alkmin Telles on the book entitled "Solid Residues". Aspects of the environment, ecosystems, environmental pollution will be addressed with an emphasis on preserving the environment for sustainable development and sustainability. The layout of the number of pages, the presence or absence of tables and graphs, and finally, an assessment of the feasibility or not of the acquisition and use of the work will also be addressed.
