The review in question represents a critical opinion of the authors regarding Adriano de Souza Schorr's work on the book entitled “Water and effluent treatment”. Technical aspects of the language and quality of the proposed subject will be addressed, as well as the layout of the number of pages, the presence or absence of tables and graphs, and finally, an assessment of the feasibility or not of acquiring and using the work.
