Contributions to the construction of historical-geographical materialism

Abstract

This work aims to provide some contributions to the construction of historical and geographical materialism, whose main defenders thinkers like David Harvey and Edward Soja, among other theorists who seek to restore the legacy left by the philosopher Henri Lefebvre and especially the German thinker Karl Marx, even in the XIX century to the critical geographical thought, and develop their theories, especially in the methodological question. Thus, from the historical analysis from this process, we propose a theoretical outline that can contribute, even in embryonic form, with some gaps among theory on this agreement of the geographical thinking worldwide.
